Fifteen rules for mistake-free writing
Despite all our persuasion, you may still insist on doing your own writing, proofreading,
and
editing. Just to show we're good sports, here are fifteen rules to help you do it
correctly.
Make sure you follow these examples:
- Don't use no double negatives.
- Make each pronoun agree with their antecedents.
- Agreement of subject and verb are very important too.
- When dangling, watch your participles.
- Sentence fragments.
- Just between you and I, many writers get mixed up between subjective and objective case.
- Don't write run-on sentences they are very hard to read.
- Don't use commas, when they're not necessary.
- When they are necessary however make sure you do use commas.
- Try to never split infinitives.
- Its important to use apostrophe's correctly
- Corect speling is esential.
- Proofread your writing to see if you any words out.
- Prepositions are not good for ending sentences with.
- Join clauses good like your conjunctions should.
